Dr Miranda Adamou has been practicing for over 30 years, having graduated from the University of Sydney in 1983 and has a lot of experience in General and cosmetic Dentistry. She has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and porcelain veneers.
Miranda works with many patients, both adults and children, and focuses on prevention and aesthetics. She has worked in her private practice in Burwood for 26 years and has recently merged her practice with the Burwood Dental Centre.
Miranda is constantly doing further education courses, keeping abreast with the new technologies and latest trends in dentistry especially in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Miranda's hobbies are travelling, cooking and she loves entertaining. Miranda Has 3 children, 2 boys in their 20's and a girl in her teens.
Dr Eli Gold grew up in Bondi and graduated as a dentist in 1971 at the University of Sydney.
He then went to live in London where he did his Post Graduate Study.
Dr Gold has been practicing in Burwood since his return in 1976. In 1996 he formed Burwood Dental Centre.
His interests have always been in the area of Cosmetic Dentistry, from which he derives great satisfaction from the results he achieves for his patients.
Dr Zoe Demosthenous completed a Bachelor of Medical Science in 2000 and graduated from the university of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dentistry in 2004. She works at our practice on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Dr Demosthenous receives many referrals from existing patients who are impressed with her friendly and sympathetic manner and the high quality of her work. She enjoys all facets of general and cosmetic dentistry. She is particularly popular among our youngest patients, who always have fun at their very first check ups!
As further service to our patients, the Burwood Dental Centre also have an on-site ceramic dental laboratory headed by Chris Xeras.
Chris and his team prepare porcelain crowns, veneers and implants with precise colour matching and exceptional fit.
Everything is conventiently made onsite with minimum disruption for our patients.
Gina Xanthis graduated from South Australia in 1995.
With Gina’s warm, friendly and caring nature she is dedicated to helping our patients with long term maintenance of healthy teeth and gums.
Gina is also an expert in our teeth whitening procedure.
Dr Eli Gold has written a book ‘HOW TO PUT YOUR DENTIST OUT OF BUSINESS’, providing quick & easy tips & invaluable information for pregnant women, babies, children, teenagers, adults & seniors.
